Allison Lowery

Online Associate Editor

Allison Lowery serves as an Online Associate Editor for the Cumberland Law Review. She graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama in May 2019 where she earned her B.S. in Commerce Business Administration. While in undergrad, Allison served on the Executive Council as the Vice President of Event Planning for Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women and was a member of the Judicial Board for Alabama Panhellenic Association.

At Cumberland, Allison serves as the Director of Negotiation for the Cumberland Trial Advocacy Team and is the Treasurer for the Federalist Society. Allison actively participates on the Cumberland National Negotiation Team and is a member of the Judge James Edwin Horton Inn of Court. She is a current member of Women in Law, the Center for Children Law, and Ethics: Human Trafficking Team, and participates with Cumberland’s Public Interest and Community Service. In 2020, Allison also served as a Caruthers Fellow.

Allison has been named to the Dean’s List each semester the List has been released. She is is part of the J.D./MBA. joint-degree program at Samford. Allison participated in the 2019 Parham H. Williams Trial Competition, the 2020 Henry C. Strickland Negotiation Competition (where she was a Finalist and awarded Best Advocate), the 2020 ABA Regional Negotiation Competition (where she was a Finalist & Co-Winner), and the 2020 ABA National Negotiation Competition (where she was a Quarterfinalist).

In her free time Allison enjoys cooking, watching sports, and spending time at the lake with her friends and family and her rescue pup Millie.
