Katie Philyaw is a writing & Bluebook editor for the Cumberland Law Review. Katie graduated summa cum laude from Lee University in May 2021 where she majored in Political Science and minored in Pre-law, History, and Religion.
At Cumberland, Katie is a member of Cumberland Public Interest and Community Service and Women in Law. She also served as a Caruthers Fellow.
Katie qualified as a Scholar of Merit, receiving the CALI Award in Civil Procedure, Contracts, Criminal Law, Evidence, Workers' Compensation, Negotiation, and Constitutional Law II. She has also been named to the Dean’s List each semester it has been released.
In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and finding new local spots.
