Research Editor
Taylor Neill serves as a research editor for the Cumberland Law Review. Taylor graduated from Belmont University in 2016 where she played softball for the Bruins and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Prior to entering law school, she worked as an Emergency Department RN around the Southeast.

At Cumberland, Taylor serves as an Academic Support Advisor. She presented her research for her Comment focusing on criminalizing medical negligence in the Cumberland Law Review’s inaugural colloquium in 2023. Her Comment was selected to be published in Volume 54.

Additionally, Taylor was a Sweet Sixteen Finalist in the 1L Williams Trial Competition. She was also named a Caruthers Fellow, received a CALI award in Civil Procedure II, and has been named to the Dean's List each semester the list has been released.Â

In her free time, Taylor enjoys being outdoors and especially loves volunteering with youth athletes throughout the community, coaching them in her favorite sport, and assisting them in achieving their goals.
