Zachary Bodley attended Troy University, where he earned his B.S. in Political Science in 2013 and his M.S. in International Relations in 2017. Before law school, he served eleven years in the U.S. Army, with deployments to the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, and Eastern Europe.

At Cumberland, Zachary is a Caruthers Writing Fellow and participates in the Parole Clinic. He has been named to the dean’s list each semester during his time in law school.

Outside of school, Zachary enjoys hunting, fishing, and hiking or running long distances with his rescued labrador pointer named Liberty. He also currently serves as an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve.
