Evan Isbill graduated from Auburn University in 2015 with a degree in Communication and a minor in Business.

Before attending Cumberland, Evan spent eight years in the nonprofit sector, including five years specializing in federal compliance for a Federally Qualified Health Center in Birmingham. In that role, he helped guide the organization through three successful federal audits and worked to strengthen clinical and operational compliance across the healthcare system.

At Cumberland, Evan serves as Executive Editor of the Cumberland Law Review and has been named to the Dean’s List each semester. He previously served as a judicial extern in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama and serves on Cumberland’s Career Development Advisory Board. His interests center on litigation, legal writing, and advocacy.

Outside of law school, Evan enjoys spending time with his growing family, staying active, and exploring Birmingham’s restaurant scene.
