Mckenzy Smith graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama in December of 2021, receiving her B.A. in Criminal Justice and with a minor in Political Science. 

 

At Cumberland, Mckenzy is the 3L Jere F. White Jr. Fellow and also serves as Vice President of Cumberland's Alabama Defense Lawyers Association chapter. During her 2L year, she was named an Outstanding Junior Editor for Volume 54 of the Cumberland Law Review and received CALI Scholar of Merit Awards in Labor Law and Constitutional Law II. She has also been named to the dean's list each semester during her time in law school.

 

In her free time, Mckenzy enjoys trying new restaurants in Birmingham, antique shopping, and spending time with her friends.
