Rachel Shumaker Bragg is a 2021 graduate of Mississippi State University with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Communication/Public Relations. ​

At Cumberland, Rachel serves as the President of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and member of the Career Development Advisory Board. In her first year of school, she received the CALI Awards as Scholar of Merit for Civil Procedure I and II, Contracts I, Evidence, and Real Property. 

Aside from being in school, Rachel enjoys SEC football and baseball weekends, exploring Birmingham’s vibrant food scene, and traveling with her husband and golden retriever.
