Courtney N. Pomeroy

Editor in Chief

Courtney Pomeroy is the Editor in Chief of the Law Review. She graduated in December 2020 from the University of Alabama where she earned her B.S. in Business Management and a specialization in Human Resources.

At Cumberland, Courtney has served as a Caruther’s Legal Writing Fellow, an Academic Support Advisor, and a research assistant for Associate Professor Ramona Albin. While being named to the Dean’s List each semester, she earned CALI Scholar of Merit Awards in Criminal Procedure and Legal Process. Courtney was also named an Outstanding Junior Editor for the 53rd Volume of the Law Review. Courtney’s writing has been published on several occasions, including with Cumberland Law Review. Upon graduation, Courtney will serve as a judicial clerk in the Northern District of Alabama. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, exercising and hiking, and she considers herself to be a big movie buff.
